Both cameras excel at 4K video recording, but the S5 offers 4K at 60fps with full-frame coverage, while the GH5S provides exceptional low-light video performance with its dual native ISO design. The S5 includes in-body image stabilization (IBIS) for steadier handheld footage, whereas the GH5S relies on lens-based stabilization only.
Build Quality and Usability
The S5 features a more robust weather-sealed construction with magnesium alloy body. Its larger grip accommodates full-frame lenses better, and the higher-resolution EVF provides clearer composition. The GH5S offers a more compact system with smaller, lighter lenses, making it ideal for run-and-gun videography.
